Dr.Emil Björnson

Emil Björnson is a Professor of Wireless Communication at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He is an IEEE Fellow, Digital Futures Fellow, and Wallenberg Academy Fellow. He has a podcast and YouTube channel called Wireless Future. His research focuses on multi-antenna communications and radio resource management, using methods from communication theory, signal processing, and machine learning. He has authored three textbooks and has published a large amount of simulation code. He has received the 2018 and 2022 IEEE Marconi Prize Paper Awards in Wireless Communications, the 2019 EURASIP Early Career Award, the 2019 IEEE Communications Society Fred W. Ellersick Prize, the 2019 IEEE Signal Processing Magazine Best Column Award, the 2020 Pierre-Simon Laplace Early Career Technical Achievement Award, the 2020 CTTC Early Achievement Award, and the 2021 IEEE ComSoc RCC Early Achievement Award. He also received six Best Paper Awards at conferences.

Dr. Brajesh Kumar Kaushik

Dr. Brajesh Kumar Kaushik (SM'13) received Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in 2007 from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. He joined Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, as Assistant Professor in December 2009; promoted to Associate Professor in April 2014; and since Aug 2020 he has been serving as full Professor. He had been Visiting Professor at TU-Dortmund, Germany in 2017; McGill University, Canada in 2018 and Liaocheng University, China in 2018. He served as Visiting Lecturer of SPIE society to deliver lectures in the area of Spintronics and Optics at SPIE chapters located across the world. He regularly serves as General Chair, Technical Chair, and Keynote Speaker of reputed international and national conferences. He also served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of IEEE Roorkee sub-section. Dr. Kaushik is a Senior Member of IEEE and member of many expert committees constituted by government and non-government organizations. He is currently serving as Distinguished Lecturer (DL) of IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) to offer EDS Chapters with quality lectures in his research domain. He is Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier Journal, Memories-Materials, Devices, Circuits and Systems; an Editor of IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices; Associate Editor of IEEE Sensors Journal; Associate Editor of IET Circuits, Devices & Systems; Editor of Microelectronics Journal, Elsevier; and Editorial Board member of Circuit World, Emerald. He is among top 2% scientists in world as per Stanford University report of 2019 and 2021. He is currently serving as member of two technical committees namely, Spintronics (TC-5), and Quantum Computing, Neuromorphic Computing and Unconventional Computing (TC-16) of IEEE Nanotechnology Council. He is also Regional coordinator (R10) of IEEE Nanotechnology Council Chapters. He has 12 books to his credit published by reputed publishers such as CRC Press, Springer, Artech and Elsevier. One his books, titled “Nanoscale Devices: Physics, Modeling, and Their Application”, CRC Press won 2018 Outstanding Book and Digital Product Awards in the Reference/Monograph Category from Taylor and Francis Group. He has been offered with fellowships and awards from DAAD, Shastri Indo Canadian Institute (SICI), ASEM Duo, United States-India Educational Foundation (Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence). His research interests are in the areas of high-speed interconnects, optics & photonics-based devices, image processing, spintronics-based devices, circuits and computing.

Dr. Angsuman Sarkar

Dr. Angsuman Sarkar is presently serving as a Professor & Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Kalyani Government Engineering College, West Bengal. His current research interest span around study of short channel effects of sub 100nm MOSFETs and nano device modeling. His name is featured in the list of “World Ranking of top 2 % Scientists” from the Indian subcontinent in the field of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology by Stanford University and Elsevier jointly. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow of Institution of Engineers (IE) India, Fellow of the Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and has served in the past as the Chairman of IEEE Electron Device Society, Kolkata Chapter. He has authored 6 books, 23 contributed book chapters, 97 journal papers in international refereed journals and 57 research papers in national and international conferences. He is a member of board of editors of various journals. He is reviewer of various international journals. He is currently supervising 8 Ph.D. scholars and has already guided 7 students successfully as principal supervisor. He has delivered invited talk/tutorial speech/expert talk in various International Conference /technical programs. He has organized IEEE international conferences and several workshops/seminars.

Dr.Alexandros-Apostolos A. Boulogeorgos

From 2022, he is an Assistant Professor at the Department Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia, Greece. From 2020 to 2021, he served as a CEO in the deep tech company InnoCube. From 2017 to 2022, he served as a Senior Researcher at the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus, where he conducted research in the area of wireless communications. In 2017, he worked as researched associate in the Centre of Research & Technology Hellas, From October 2012 to September 2016, he was a Teaching Assistant with the Department of ECE, AUTh He has worked in a number of EU and national projects. He has (co-)authored more than 150 technical papers, which were published in scientific journals and presented at prestigious international conferences. Furthermore, he is the holder of 2 (1 national and 1 European) patents. His current research interests’ spans in the area of wireless communications and networks with emphasis in high frequency communications, intelligent communication systems with emphasis to semantic communications, optical wireless communications, and signal processing and communications for biomedical applications. He was awarded the Distinction Scholarship Award from the Research Committee of AUTh in 2014, and was recognized as an Exemplary Reviewer for IEEE COMMUNICATION LETTERS in 2016. He is an IEEE Senior Member and a Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. He is currently an Editor for IEEE COMMUNICATIONS LETTERS, an Associate Editor for the Frontier in Communications and Networks, and for the MDPI~Telecom.

Dr. Ujjwal Mondal

Dr. Ujjwal Mondal obtained his PhD degree from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. He started his academic carrier as an Assistant Professor with Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, from 2008. He worked as an Assistant Professor with RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata from 2012-2016 and currently working as an Associate Professor in Instrumentation Engineering, Dept. of Applied Physics, University of Calcutta. He is involved in different individual and collaborative research activities. He has co-authored 3 books on Control Systems (Published by McGraw Hill India). His areas of research interest include Repetitive Control Systems, Real Time Control Systems, and Adaptive Control Systems. He has more than 70 publications in international journals and conference proceedings on various topics related to his research paradigm.

Dr.Sandip Ghosh

He has 36 years of Total Industry Experience as Global Practice Head, IoE & Blockchain, CPG&D TCS (20015-2021) and NPD & Sustenance, EIS – TCS (2007-2015). He has completed his M.Tech. (Design & Analysis), NIT, Allahabad. Moreover, he worked in multiple senior positions across industry handling engineering and cutting-edge programs of both national and global importance. The programs spanned across very large oilfield & process pumps systems, deep sea technologies, robotics, automation, semiconductor equipment, IoT, Blockchain, AI, etc.

Dr. Rudra Sankar Dhar

Dr. Rudra Sankar Dhar did his M.S in Microelectronics Engineering from University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK and his Ph.D. degree in field of Nanotechnology Engineering from University of Waterloo, Canada. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the area of Nanomaterials technology and Smart Electronics for development of green technology based nanodevices at the University of Alberta, Canada. He has also worked as teacher and researcher for more than 20 years at some of the reputed Industry and Institutes globally such as Chipworks Inc. Canada, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore among few others. Presently, he is the Dean Academics of NIT Mizoram and is the HoD of the Centre of Interdisciplinary Research in the Institute. He is also attached to his parent Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at NIT Mizoram since December 2015. He has supervised 6 PhDs and many MTech students to completion while 10 other PhD students are ongoing. He published more than 130 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences world-wide. He is also a reviewer and editor of many Scopus indexed journals and conference proceedings. He is an elected Fellow and Life Member of IETE and IEI. He is also Senior IEEE member. His research interests include Semiconductor device physics, Nanomaterials Technology, Renewable Hybrid and Green Energy Design, solar photovoltaics, microelectronics, and applications for 1D, 2D, and 3D quantum structures.

Mr.Pragnajit Datta Roy

He has more than twenty years of experience in System On Chip and memory performance modelling and analysis, High Level Synthesis design and verification methodology, ESL (Electronic System Level) design methodology. In his current role he is leading pre-silicon platform performance engineering and analysis group at Qualcomm Inc. His current responsibilities include in-depth analysis of system level performance of Qualcomm's Snapdragon mobile and gaming chipset. He had deep understanding of architectural tradeoffs needed for PPA optimizations both at system and core level. He had been responsible for tape-out of at least 15+ chipset during my tenure at Qualcomm. He has been a member of few workgroups at Qualcomm ,spearheading cutting edge research in AI in edge computing and innovation in computer architecture.
