Deepak Mathur
Deepak Mathur is a member of IEEE Governance and has also served on IEEE Board as Region 10 Director and IEEE Vice President Deepak was India Council Chair in 2015-2016. Deepak, a former Chief General Manager of ONGC (India’s premier public sector company engaged in exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons), has more than 4 decades of professional experience in fields of electronics and telecommunication and has held various engineering and managerial positions during his career. He has successfully conducted planning and executions of several IT projects like SCADA, on-line/real-time monitoring systems, IT infrastructure creation, Wi-Max based broadband wireless access system, GPS/GSM based vehicle tracking system etc. and has led teams of IT professionals and multi-disciplinary teams. He also has the experience of managing and working on Hi-Tech (Oil) Well Logging Systems which analyzes the properties of subsurface to explore the possibility of hydrocarbons.Deepak is currently professor of practice in a university in India and helps students from the perspective of Industry.Deepak is an Electronics and Communication engineering graduate from India’s prestigious IIT-Roorkee. He also holds an MBA degree with Executive MBA (from IIM Kolkata).In his IEEE journey, Deepak has been the recipient of various IEEE recognitions including the prestigious IEEE Region 10 Outstanding Volunteer Award, IEEE MGA Achievement Award and IEEE India Council Lifetime Achievement award.

Alexandros-Apostolos A. Boulogeorgos
Alexandros-Apostolos A. Boulogeorgos (IEEE Senior Member) received the Diploma degree in electrical and computer engineering and the Ph.D. degree in wireless communications from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2012 and 2016, respectively. Since 2022, he had been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Greece. From 2026, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace. He has (co-)authored more than 200 technical papers, which were published in scientific journals and presented at prestigious international conferences. Furthermore, he is the holder of four (two national, one European, and one international) patents. He is listed in Stanford's “World’s Top 2\% Scientists.” Finally, he has participated in several national and international research and innovation projects.His current research interests span the area of wireless communications and networks, with emphasis in high frequency communications, intelligent communication systems with emphasis on semantic communications, optical wireless communications, and signal processing and communications for biomedical applications. He is currently an Editor of IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, Frontier in Communications and Networks, and Telecom (MDPI). He has also served as an associate editor in IEEE Communications Letters. He has participated as a guest editor in the organization of a number of special issues in IEEE and non-IEEE journals. He has been involved as a member of organizational and technical program committees in several IEEE and non-IEEE conferences, and served as a reviewer in various IEEE journals and conferences. Dr. Angsuman Sarkar
Dr. Angsuman Sarkar is Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kalyani Government Engineering College, West Bengal, with over 23 years of academic and research experience. He previously served at Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College and Kalyani Government Engineering College in various capacities, including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. He obtained his M.Tech degree in VLSI and Microelectronics and earned his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University. His research interests primarily focus on short-channel effects in sub-100 nm MOSFETs, nanoelectronic devices, and nanoscale device modeling. Dr. Sarkar is a Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), and a Life Member of ISTE. He previously served as Chairman of the IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS), Kolkata Chapter. He has authored 15 books, 27 contributed book chapters, 126 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, and 76 papers in national and international conferences. His name appears in the Stanford–Elsevier list of the world’s top 2% scientists in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the Indian subcontinent. His contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the Shiksha-Ratna Award (2025) conferred by the Government of West Bengal.

Dr. Gaurav Jyoti Phukan
Dr. Gaurav Jyoti Phukan has 25 years of experience in electronics industry, especially in research & development. He is currently Director, Research & Development in Rohde & Schwarz India, a multi-national company with worldwide presence. Prior to this, he worked for two decades in Bharat Electronics Ltd, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Dr. Gaurav is an alumnus of IIT Guwahati, with Signal Processing in Communication as his specialization. He has been part of numerous projects and developments for Government of India and other stake holders. In his career, he was instrumental in several innovations in applied signal processing in communication, leading to multiple Indian patents and R&D excellence awards. Dr Gaurav has been an advocate of application of fundamentals principles of engineering as building blocks of advanced and complex systems. He promotes and mentor young professionals to build research & development competencies in India to develop cutting edge technology. He is closely associated with academia to promote industry-academia collaboration in research & development. The keynote speech is expected to have crisp instances of industry expectations from aspiring students and some lighter interactive moments.

Dr. Rupesh Kumar
Dr. Rupesh Kumar, a PhD graduate of Telecom ParisTech, France with over 14 years of experience in the field of RF/Microwave Systems design, including at senior and team lead levels in France, Singapore, the UK, and India, in Research and Innovation. He has multi-functional expertise in RF Antenna System Design (5G/6G, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface), Wireless Sensing System Design (Radar), Smart IoT Sensor Design, Signal Processing, and AI/ML for civil as well as military uses. All these experiences are related to Research and Innovation, and he has been associated with renowned Research Institutes such as CEA-Leti1, ENST2, and XLIM3 (France), Temasek4 (Singapore), and ECIT5 (Queen’s University Belfast) related to RF/Microwave Systems development and its management. Additionally, he has also engaged in active international collaboration for establishing Wireless as well as Sensing system design for 6G applications. He has a sponsored Project from ISRO, India to develop a “Software for Conformal Array Antenna design”. As an International Collaboration, he is working as a Collaborator with Temasek lab, NTU Singapore for “RIS aided Multi-Target Localization with a Single Receiver Passive Radar and 5G NR Signals”, and with Universidad National Technologica de Lima Sur, Peru6 for “Development of an Airborne Radar for Accurate Estimation of Canopy Height and Profiles in Millimeter and Optical Bands in the Context of Forest inventory”. Currently, he is supervising research work related to 6G technology and its application. Presently, he is an active member of the Consultative Committee (CC) for the adoption of TSDSI adopted ATSC 3.0 standards into National Standard by the Telecommunications Engineering Centre (TEC), Department of Telecommunication (DoT) under the Ministry of Communication, India. He is also a member of the “National Working Group on Quantum Technology (NWG-QT)” formed by TEC, DoT under the National Quantum Mission dated February 22nd, 2024. He has to his credit a good number of articles published in national and international refereed journals as well as Patents (national and international). He has published the book “Radar and RF Front End System Design for Wireless Systems” published by Idea Group Inc (IGI Global) in 2024 and many book chapters related to Smart Wireless Sensing. Presently, he is working at SRM University AP as a Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering since January 2023.

Dr. Somashekara Bhat
Dr. Somashekara Bhat, Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at MIT Manipal. He received his PhD from IIT Madras in 2008. His research interests include MEMS technology for biomedical applications; Synthesis, characterization, and fabrication of electrode and electrolyte materials for energy storage devices like supercapacitors; Biomedical devices; Microfluidic devices; Spintronic device based circuit design. He has over 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals, proceedings, and book chapters. He has 3 granted and 4 filed Indian patents to his credit. He also reviews for the JM3, Journal of Energy Storage, iScience, ACS Applied Nano Materials, Results in Engineering and IEEE Access. He serves on various Boards of Studies and Boards of Examiners across multiple institutions. He has delivered keynote addresses, invited talks, and guest lectures at various national and international conferences. He has also been a resource person in many workshops and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) within and outside MAHE.
